Cambria Hotel Plano Frisco

I was pleasantly surprised. The room I got was a suite, not sure all are. It is clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows my type, the denser ones. The sitting area has its own tv which is at the desk so could be a monitor as well. The fridge comes with it. I also had a separate whirlpool tub room! The bathroom is roomy and water pressure in the shower is amazing. The breakfast was good. It is reasonable prices for a hotel, although my room got breakfast included. It is not a buffet. The coffee was good and they make coffee drinks should you like those. The location is a bit off-putting in that it is sort of a mixed use area. But lots of restaurants are in walking distance and I walked to my company office. The rooms were very quiet. I highly recommend.

My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway. Check in was super easy, the entry was inviting. After going up the room was very nice, spacious, and clean but we did not receive the room that we had booked online even though we had confirmation. When I called down to the front desk the young man stated there wasn't really anything he could do due to we booked through a 3rd party. I did not want to make a big deal about it and ruin our trip so we settled in. The weekend was very quiet we barely seen anyone else. The evening bartender Friday night was very sweet and personable as well as the gentleman that took our food order at the bar Saturday. Great location.. We were only 8 minutes in any direction from every store & restaurant you can think of. Sunday morning about 3:00-4:00am the power went out in the entire hotel. It was pitch black.. (I almost felt like I was in a horror movie) We used our flashlights to walk down 3 flights of stairs to the front desk. The gentleman informed us very non chalantly it will be back on in a few hours. Although we wanted to stay and get every penny worth we decided to pack up in the dark and make the hour in a half drive. It would have been nice to get some kind of communication regarding the wrong room and the power outage but no one reached out. Overall it wasn't too bad of an experience but a couple of hiccups along the way. REMINDER; Communication is everything.

Savannah and the gentleman who managed the dinner area were truly exceptional. The older lady at the front desk was equally outstanding. The staff's service is impeccable, earning a solid six stars day and night. Unfortunately, I must deduct to one star due to the disappointing breakfast experience, especially after an $800 hotel stay. I did share my concerns with a young lady at the front desk, although I was advised that speaking to the manager would yield the same response, ultimately feeling like a waste of time. This experience has regrettably led me to the decision of not returning

I stayed at the Cambria Plano/Frisco on 🎄 Eve and checked out Christmas Day. I booked the room with the whirlpool online so it was a little cheaper. I wasn't to pleased with the woman at the front desk she barely looked at me very poor customer service. She didn't say welcome to Cambria. I see you will be in room such and such with the whirlpool. You will enjoy it. She could have also said our gym is on the such and such floor. Our restaurant serves breakfast at this time and dinner at this time etc. I understand about the signs that indicates where things are but nice hospitality is always good. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The room has 3 TV's, a den, walk in 🚿, the whirlpool has it's own separate room that was in the far back. A nice shower. I absolutely loved it. The water was real hot and the bubbles was what I needed. I stayed in that whirlpool for an hour. I loved the TV in that room. I watched me a 🎥. The gym was very nice and clean. I worked out both days. I loved the cleanliness through out the hotel. My dinner on Christmas Eve was good. I had the 🍋 Chicken, Rice Pilaf, and Sauteed 🥦 with cheese sauce. The employee Savannah wasn't friendly at all. I did like the way that Cambria sends you text messages to see how I was enjoying my stay. I let them know about Savannah poor attitude. She really didn't want to be there. She only had to work four hours. The breakfast was so good on Christmas. I worked out again and asked the front desk if they could turn on the 🔥 pit and they did. I took pictures outside in 30 degree weather at the pit. I took pictures and videos all over the hotel. The ambiance is very nice. I love the artsy wall. My on concerns was: I had charges of $400 and I seen the room charge was $298 and a charge of $100. I went to the front desk and asked them about it. The woman at the front desk said it has been doing that a lot lately but that $100 is an incidental fee and it will drop off and the amount of the $298 will be corrected. I do see right now it's only showing $198 and the $100 is pending. My bank said that will drop off on the 28th.The negative is bedroom TV only stayed on Bravo on 🎄 Eve and no matter how many times I tried to change to another channel it went back to Bravo. I let front desk know on Christmas morning the maintenance brought but I only had two hours til check out by that time. Over all I enjoyed my stay. The communication was definetly a plus.
